This print is created from a collage of real microscopy images of human cells. Each cell has a unique shape created by a skeleton made of actin filaments - resulting in a beautiful pattern. The actin cytoskeleton was imaged by fluorescence polarization microscopy, resulting in a slightly different shade of red depending on the orientation of the filaments. Each cell has a nucleus containing its DNA (blue) and centromeres (cyan).

All paper prints have a white edge framing the artwork.
- Satin Canvas: Beautiful water-resistant canvas with a satin finish and superior color. The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame with a gallery wrap that covers the sides, making the print look fabulous even without a frame.
- Acrylic: Seriously amazing museum-quality prints. This option has the most vibrant and richest colors, as well as a modern glass-like surface. The artwork is printed on premium photo paper and mounted onto a clear acrylic sheet with polished edges. These prints come with a back frame that makes the artwork appear to be floating off the wall for a classy look. Frames and other mounting types may be available upon request.
