return & cancellation policy
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY
skopology has a strict 30-day return policy, which means to be eligible for a return, you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Should the 30 days pass since receipt of the item(s), the policy shall be deemed null and void.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Customers must return the original packaging and shipping label of the item.
If the lighting doesn't work, we will need a video and photos of this. Please document and email us these for proof.
skopology reserves the right to refuse the request for return/exchange/refund if it is found that the item in question was damaged due to customer misuse or error.
To start a return, just go to our contact page (or email: firstname.lastname@example.org) and tell us the exact issue so we can start the return/refund process. You will be responsible for paying to return the item to us here in the USA.
Terms & Conditions for Returns:
- The customer must pay for all fees associated with shipping the items back to us in the USA.
- The customer must provide skopology with a valid tracking number through our email: email@example.com
- The refund will be processed within 10-14 working days after confirmed receipt of the returned item(s) in our warehouse.
- The customer is responsible for tracking the package. The refund will not be processed if the package does not arrive in our warehouse.
- Should the item(s) cost over $50 USD to return, it is recommended that you use a trackable shipping service and also purchase shipping insurance. skopology cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item without this information.
Partial Refund & Store Credit Policy:
- Item(s) not in its unused and original condition.
- Item(s) damaged or with incomplete parts for reasons not due to skopology's error.
- Item(s) returned to sender due to inability to be delivered. Shipping cost will be deducted from total refund balance.
- Refund processing will begin once the package has been received by our warehouse.
Item(s) purchased with the following:
- Gift cards
- Promotional codes
Item(s) that fall under the following categories:
- Proven attempt of delivery of package resulting in failure due to misinformation given by customer (ex. incorrect/incomplete address)
- skopology relies solely on information given by the customer, and trusts that all information provided is true and accurate. skopology shall not be liable for inability to deliver any and all packages due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
- Item(s) returned to sender due to inability to be delivered.
- Lost/stolen packages since receipt of item(s) according to the official tracking number provided.
- Change of mind without any factory defects/damage to the item(s)
- Damaged item(s) due to customer misuse.
- Misinterpretation of product listing despite clear indications for regular priced items.
- Only orders that have NOT been processed can be cancelled.
- skopology can not longer cancel an order once the package has been processed and shipped.
- Change of mind is not valid for cancellation once order has been processed/shipped.
- skopology relies solely on our logistics partners. Logistical delays are beyond skopology's control; some orders may experience minor delays due to the shipping address/location.
- skopology cannot cancel an item due to delayed shipment.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We get your items processed and shipped from our suppliers in 1-3 days after your purchase.
Process for Return:
Review the refund policy to determine eligibility of the item(s).
Please send us an email through our contact page or in your account, click cancel in your order (if you are within the 24 hour time window). Or call us toll free (+1 855-440-2124) and leave a voicemail.
Please await confirmation of the refund amount that the item(s) qualify for a refund (depending on reason for return, and item(s) in order).
skopology will provide the return address and shipping label instructions. This step is necessary!
Please ship the item subject for return/exchange at YOUR OWN COST. We cannot cover the cost of return shipping nor provide pre-paid labels. Kindly print out the order confirmation email and include it in the return package.
Notify us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) that you have accomplished STEPS 1-4, and provide us with this shipping company and tracking number.
skopology will process the refund/return within 10-14 business days after receiving the returned items.
Refunds (if applicable):
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. skopology reserves the right to refuse the request for return/exchange/refund if it is found that the item in question was damaged due to customer misuse or error.
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Please note: you will be required to pay for returning this item to our address here in the United States. Upon receiving an undamaged item, we will issue a refund, no questions asked.
Sale items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items are eligible for refund. Unfortunately, coupon/sale/discounted items cannot be refunded, and are subject to FINAL SALE.
Exchanges (if applicable):
skopology can only replace items that are proven defective and/or damaged and unused. The items must also be in its original state and packaging. Please send us an email at email@example.com with the attached proof and the following details:
- email address
- Order number
- Pictures showing the defective and/or damaged item(s)
- Video of the defect/damage
- A clear picture of the shipping label and original packaging
